Thursday, December 27, 2007 :Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benezir Bhutto has been assassinated just two months after returning to Pakistan from exile. She died after an apparent suicide attack in the city of Rawalpindi. Bhutto had just addressed an election rally when gunfire and an explosion occurred. We go to Pakistan and simulcast part of the breaking news coverage on Dawn News and speak with Sadaf Aziz, professor of law and policy at Lahore University of Management Sciences, and Zia Mian, a physicist with the Program on Science and Global Security at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
