LARRY EVEREST, author of "Oil, Power, and Empire," and UC Berkeley Ethnic Studies graduate student/acting instructor ROBERTO HERNANDEZ will speak about attacks on academic freedom and the fascist agenda of David Horowitz and IFAW; their relationship to the Bush Administration in the context of expanding U.S. war in the Middle East, including the real possibility of an imminent attack on Iran, and repression at home. VIDEO STATEMENT by NOAM CHOMSKY on the threat to academic freedom today.

There is an ice sheet spreading across the campuses of America. Critical thinking is under assault; the universities are being transformed into uncontested centers of indoctrination. This OCTOBER 22-26, some of America's fascists headed by David Horowitz will attempt to make a further major step in this repressive process. They have declared an "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week" (IFAW). EXPOSE AND POLITICALLY DEFEAT THIS REACTIONARY OFFENSIVE!
