Community March and Protest

Richmond Communities march and rally for Environmental Justice and to stop Chevron's proposed refinery expansion to process dirtier, sulfur heavy oil:
No more pollution over Richmond's overburdened communities.

Nationally, Chevron imported in the month of May, 2007 1.5 million barrils of Iraqi oil...and it has blood in it.

Chevron's crimes also include support for forced labor, land theft, forced displacement, repression in the form of kidnapping, rape, disappearances, and execution. Chevron, the corporate owner of Unocal, profits from these practices. So does the Burmese Military.

Chevron's continuing business operations within Burma directly prop up the regime cracking down on protests demanding an end to military rule and the restoration of democracy.

Burmese blood runs through Chevron's pipelines.

Another reason to march, another reason to boycott, another reason to step up resistance at locally based Chevron headquarters, and at Chevron and Unocal stations everywhere.
