School board to OK contract for new office

The Kentfield School District board is expected to approve the contract for the purchase of 800 College Ave. from the California State Parks Foundation at its 6:30 p.m. meeting Tuesday at the Bacich Elementary School library.

The 3,000-square-foot building sits next to Kent Middle School and houses the headquarters for the California State Parks Foundation. Kentfield officials plan on moving its district headquarters to the new facility.

The district announced last month that it had reached a tentative deal to purchase the building for $1.8 million.

Several other items are up for discussion at the meeting Tuesday. Bacich Elementary is at 25 McAllister Ave. in Kentfield.
