The Jazz Generation presents their popular history of women in jazz show, for the 2nd Annual
Women's Equality Day Parade and Rally. Written by Suzanne Brooks; premiered in 2004.
The Jazz Generation is multi-ethnic, multi-generational band of men and women

Suzanne Brooks, vocalist/manager; Chris Lee, keyboard; Kim Nguyen, flute;
Toby Spencer, drums; David O'Keefe, bass; and Joel Bremson, guitar;
along with Monique Massey Jefferson, narrator; and dancers choreographed by
Linda Tregle, teacher at Cosumnes River and San Joaquin Delta Colleges.
This performance is made possible by support from the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission,
Lyons Realty, Crepeville Restaurant (24th Street), I Wantabe Costumes (West Sacramento)
and International Association for Women of Color Day.
