California | Government & ElectionsFPPC Complaint Filed Against Carole Migden
Official California Fair Political Practices Committee (FPPC) complaint filed against California state Senator Carole Migden for multiple violations of California Election Law. This morning, I filed an official complaint against California state Senator Carole Migden for multiple, clear violations of California Election Law. The complaint was submitted to the California Fair Political Practices Committee (FPPC).
Carole Migden is campaigning against Assemblyman Mark Leno and Joe Alioto Veronese. The voters deserve a fair campaign. Carole Migden is notorious for her past FPPC fines, yet has a habit of behavior that suggests she would rather pay the fines than follow the law. Just this last week, Carole Migden came clean to San Francisco Bay Guardian executive editor Tim Redmond that her campaign was involved in the Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO) billboard scandal involving Michael Colbruno – despite her campaign manager Richie Ross denying all involvement when asked by San Francisco Chronicle reporters Phil Matier and Andy Ross (Matier and Ross). Here is a summary of her violations: Violation #1 (illegal transfer of $1 million in surplus campaign funds)

Anybody can file one of these things, so why don't you just file your complaint instead of talking about how you are going to file your complaint? I'm sure they'll figure this all out in a balanced way.
Are you an antiwar leader getting national attention? No? Well she is. Are you helping MJ dispensaries? Well she is trying: http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2007/06/17/18428109.php You got to get positive, man. |
