San Francisco | LGBTI / Queer4th Annual Trans March
The annual Trans March brought several thousand people to Dolores Park on June 22, for what appeared to be the largest turnout in the event's 4-year history.  leadbanner01-indy.jpg The grassroots Trans March - like the Dyke March (June 23) - brings out a more diverse and eclectic crowd than Sunday's more commercial Pride parade (June 24).
After a rally at the park featuring performance artist/author Lynee Breedlove and dueling politicos Mark Leno and Carol Migden, the march took to the streets of the Mission/Castro district.
