BHA Report Reveals How Landlords Collect Rent On The
Deceased In Berkeley

Tenants in the local Section 8 programs are still
learning how bad things have really become through the
years, as a result of the Bush Administration budget
cuts and mismanagement in the Berkeley Housing
Authority (BHA).

A March 20, 2007, Berkeley Housing Authority,
Information Report, details how greedy landlords in
Berkeley have been charging high rents for the
deceased.

"Local Section 8 tenants can only hope that the new
Board Members of the Berkeley Housing Authority have
what it takes to make the greedy landlords of Berkeley
return the rent checks they have collected from the
deceased."
