Crisis of Empire

Today, Congress passed a non-binding resolution urging the President to withdraw from Iraq. However, because the bill is non-binding it will most likely become another increase in funds for the war effort, that is if Bush does not veto it.

Meanwhile it was reported that in the last three months 5,500 people have died in Iraq. National demonstrations have been called in Iraq to oppose the occupation and 56% of Americans want troops out.

Come to the ISO open forum to discuss what it will take to stop the occupation and get money for jobs and education.
