Applications for the third annual PSR Sacramento Scholarship Essay Contest are now available at http://www.sacpsr.org.

The contest is open to high school seniors in Sacramento and the surrounding counties (please see website for complete eligibility rules).

First place winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship; second place a $1,000 scholarship; and third place a $500 scholarship. The other seven contestants participating in the May 5 final judging event will each receive $250 scholarships.

Deadline for essay submission is March 21, 2007.

Please help us let students know about this opportunity by forwarding this information to any high school students, parents or counselors you know, or by posting the information in your lunch room, local coffee shop, or other public board.
Many thanks,
