Vegetarian Cooking Class: Healthful Holiday Feasting

Join the Compassionate Cooks’ (www.compassionatecooks.com) Vegetarian Cooking Class that features local, in-season, mostly organic ingredients. On December 9th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm, we will demonstrate five delicious, nutritious dishes, including Elegant Crepes with Moroccan-flavored Seasonal Veggies, Toasted Quinoa Salad with Slivered Almonds, Shitake Mushroom & Walnut Pate, Roasted Beets with Orange Vinaigrette, Pecan Balls (aka Snowdrops, aka Russian Tea Cakes). We feature uncomplicated recipes, debunk myths regarding plant-based eating, eat yummy food samples, have a lot of fun, and share Holiday Nog with Fresh Nutmeg! Wheelchair accessible. $45 (in advance), plus $5 food/materials fee (due on day of class).
