Counteroffers were made: demonstrators demanded that the Consul come out to speak with the crowd; the Consul refused and sent representatives to the street to request that four demonstrators go upstairs to discuss the situation, which in turn was not accepted. More demonstrations are planned to keep the pressure on the local Consulate.
