Agora GAllery in New york presents Tripping The Light Fantastic, The Exhibition of Fine Art Photography, showcasing the fine art photography of San Francisco artist Nicole Loverso.

Nicole Loverso’s photography is more than a frozen moment in time; it is a conceptual image that exposes structural complexity. She brings an alternative approach with her camera and emphasizes the natural relationship between an object’s construction and its definition with light. Her choices of capturing certain angles, whether they are introverted and/or extroverted, challenge the visual norm and explore deep within the structure. The inspiration of light’s spontaneity gives her photography a unique blend of shadows. Her color palette is strictly determined by the different levels of light, which provide Loverso with a magnificent grey scale. They reveal more of a dramatic statement, bringing bold emphasis to the contrasting white and black. Loverso’s innovative eye brings an abstract quality to the medium of photography. She is not allowing the camera lens to constrict her composition, but uses it to find another option in viewing an object. She has taken the everyday and revealed it in captivating and new point of view.
