When this village, Saara, was under Israeli bombardment, these girls and 11 members of their family hid out in a single room of their destroyed home for over a week, with no food or water, until they were able to evacuate. The family testified that israel gave them no prior warning to evacuate before bombing began.

Me perdoem em não escrever em inglês, mas não sei falar em inglês. Olá! Estou perplexo em ver estas fotos.Confesso que acompanhei muito pouco todo o contexto desta situação dolorosa que o povo do Líano passou.Não posso aceitar que vidas sejam sacrificadas por causa de interesses políticos...é muito triste ver o que aconteceu. Costumo dizer que o povo do Brasil nem sabe canalizar as dores das perdas que todo libanês sente porque aqui nunca acontece este tipo de ataque como ocorre nesta região.O que nos faz sofrer são outras tragédias como o tráfico, a violência e a corrupção política e moral.E acreditem que isso faz sofrer-nos mais do que guerras ou ataques terroristas:sofremos psicologicamente e lentamente. A primeira foto que mostra a boneca de brinquedo toda quebrada junto aos destroços ao fundo me deixou assustado. Eu guardei esta foto e por ela eu senti no meu peito a angústia que as pessoas foram submetidas nesta brutal guerra desumana. Através da lente deste fotógrafo passou esperanças, alegrias, sonhos e vidas! É muito importante saber distingüir este "click" da emoção ao ver o efeito dele:ali está o registro do que sobrou fisicamente e espiritualmente. Deus esteje sobre todos para que não pereçamos, mas alcancemos a vida Nele! Louvado seja Teu nome!Amém!
