Hillary Clinton: All Americans are standing behind Israel : Indybay

Speaking at a large demonstration in support of Israel in Manhattan on Monday, United States Senator Hillary Clinton expressed unreserved support for Israel and commended President George Bush for his stance in the present crisis.

Clinton said on Monday that all Americans, whether Democrats or Republicans, stood behind Israel at this time.

The demonstration, which drew an estimated 5,000 people, was described as one of the largest Jewish events in recent years.

Unlike Dem-Repubs, Peace & Freedom Supports Palestinians

Unlike the Democratic and Republican politicians who at all levels of government support Israel, the socialist Peace & Freedom Party on the California ballot supports the Palestinian liberation struggle. Marsha Feinland is running for US Senate against Dianne Feinstein, and there are other candidates for various statewide and federal offices. See http://www.peaceandfreedom2006.org/ The only way you are going to elect politicians who oppose the US puppet state, the military base known as Israel, is by voting for people who support the Palestinian liberation struggle. Every single Democrat & Republican office holder, including Rep. Barbara Lee of Berkeley-Oakland, who voted for the resolution praising the butcher of Palestine, Ariel Sharon, by definition, supports Israel.

It is extraordinary that only 5,000 Zionists showed up for a pro-Israel rally in New York City with its heavy concentration of people who believe in the Jewish superstition (all religion is superstition). Apparently the Israel garbage does not sell so well anymore. This may just be the timing of the demonstration on a weekday, but it is still a change.
