In Chicago, we would have been strengthened by having some songs, possibly chants, maybe even dancing-- in addition to repeated calls for "Free Lebanon"& "Free Palestine", etc.-- as led by a group of Palestinians who were likewise present at a counter-demo to a Pro-Israel rally, on 7/17. Unfortunately for us, the Pro-Israel rally had some of these features.
Also, when a Pro-Israel person came over to talk with our counter-demo, he was treated with repeated shouts & insults. Thanks for the Photos
