San Francisco | Anti-WarPhotos: Thousands Take To The Streets To Protest Against Occupation Of Iraq
On March 18th, 2006 thousands of people gathered in Civic Center to show their opposition to the war in Iraq. After sligtly over an hour of speakers, the march left CIvic Center and looped through the streets of San Francisco before returning to the initial rally point. ANSWER was the main organizer of the event but many labor unions, Socialist groups, Palestinian rights groups and groups fighting for justice in the Phillipines had large contingents that took part in the rally and march. ![]() 1_answer_banner1.jpg
