Jail solidarity is one of the most important parts of any action that results in arrests. I think we should get more organized on this part. This is when you find out who your true friends are. Jail time can be tough, but knowing you have people working for you on the outside really helps with moral.
We need to get more people from the march to take part in jail solidarity. I think flyers and information on where to rally and such should be passed out at the start of the march. Also it seems from some of the videos that there were some missed chances for some un-arrests. Let’s get coordinated on the street and try to stop some arrests in progress as well. If an un-arrest is not possible, then sympathy arrests in mass can provide jail solidarity on the inside where it really counts. Especially if they put the activist arrestees in with the general population then you really need your comrades. unarresting

Maybe those people weren't unarrested because there were people standing around with videocameras...
camera's necessary

The video cameras are very important. There are many recent situations where video evidence caused the judge to just drop charges at the initial hearing, because an officer's testimony was clearly disproven. Demonstrators or participants don't have time to think about if there is a video with the correct angle. Really, you have to assume the police are present with a camera, or have one set up in a patrol car, so if you don't want to be identified, put on a sweater and a windbreaker, or wear a fake beard or something.
I know that guy
