NOAA announced today that it is devising a plan to parsect the sea from about 200 miles out from shore, for "fish farming"
They've done it with agribusiness and now they want to do it with aquabusiness......NOAA is working on a plan to 'lease the sea' to big business for fish farming. Though the plan must go through a variety of environmental hurdles, the writing is on the wall. Listen to this interview we made with JD Evenow, a captain of a fishing boat from Oregon. JD tells the story of how the small people would be put out of work by such a scheme.
