Activists and community members will gather to demand an end to the occupation of Iraq and to protest the Bush administration’s continuing agenda of unprovoked war, exploitation of resources at home and abroad, attacks on civil rights and liberties, and social policies that benefit the elite rather than the people of the U.S.
With doubts about the validity of the 2004 election still hanging over the presidential inauguration, activists will speak out for civil rights and true democracy – including an end to the illegal occupation of other sovereign nations.
