The latest US coup d'etat, this time again in Haiti, will be covered with live interviews from Haiti and various experts on a Democracy Now special on KPFA, 94.1 FM, from 4 to 6 p.m., 2/29/04.

Currently, Dennis Bernstein of Flashpoints, is doing the same kind of news coverage on KPFA, 94.1 FM, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It can be heard on the radio and online at http://www.kpfa.org

KPFA has been covering this story all day with news reports on the half hour starting at 7 a.m. today, Sunday, February 29, 2004.

This is community radio, listener-sponsored, no commercial radio at its finest.

Listen, learn, appreciate the benefits of the fruits of our labor, KPFA, and all other Pacifica stations (KPFK in Los Angeles, WBAI in New York, WPFW in Washington DC and KPFT in Houston). Pacifica's website is:

The US-taxpayer funded thugs are at this moment attempting to murder 2 mayors in Haiti and are killing people in the streets of Haiti. We still have not heard the voice or seen the picture of the democratically-elected Pres. Aristide (when will the US have a democratically-elected president?)

Our money which we need for housing, schools, medical care and public transportation is being used to murder the people of Haiti so as to maximize the profits of the capitalist corporations.

US helicopters are whirling over the heads of the people of Haiti at this very moment. They are certainly not stopping the bloodbath on the ground, paid for with our tax dollars.

Keep listening.
