It's sad what Israel did. The right wing (the same forces which foisted the Iraq war on us) killed those kids on purpose in order to ignite the terrorist response, and thus justify the killing in the first place, and allow for the land grab.
For them, Sharon and his Lukid gang, it's a no lose situation....(they think): the more the "terror" the more they can justify the theft. If the World Trade comes down, hey, so much the better. If a couple of Jews get blown up in temples around the world, hey, just more immigration to Israel.
Unfortunately for them, this little master plan of "regional war" is going to get out of hand and become World War III, and they're going to find that the walls that they're building are going to be, in the best senario, the walls of their own ghetto, and in the more likely case, the wall around the cemetary that was once called Israel....(rockets go over walls).
I feel sorry for the Palestinians. I also feel sorry for all those peace loving Israels: both victims of Sharon and his gang, both there and in the US (Wolfowitze, Feith, Perle, etc., and of course, the right wing American Jewish lobbies). I feel sorry for us too, they've started the end of the world.

I dont know what the situation was with this case but "throwing stones for freedom" is not an acceptable form of "peaceful" protest.
An easy test is if there was a counter demonstration using the same tactics right next to it would they kill each other. If so then they are probably worse than the thing they are protesting against.
Also rocks are far from harmless..if I sought you out and threw rocks at you when you have a gun you will shoot me just like any other person would.
If you throw rocks at people you must either want to hurt and possibly kill people, or you dont care if you hurt or kill people but for the most part you are applying for a darwin award. If they have a gun you are looking at the latter more than the former.

You see, scottie, it becomes a problem when people like you project their violent system of values onto others. I for one would not shoot a stonethrower, even if I were paranoid enough to own a gun - which I'm not.
Now, if I happened to be driving around on my neighbor's property in a tank, and my neighbor decided to express her disatisfaction at my actions by hurling a stone or two at my well-protected self, I would not shoot.
But, of course, I wouldn't be driving around on my neighbor's property in a tank in the first place.

GE 3:1-7, 22-24 God allows Adam and Eve to be deceived by the Serpent (the craftiest of all of God's wild creatures). God prevents them from regaining eternal life, by placing a guard around the "Tree of Eternal Life." The man then cuts her body into twelve pieces and sends one piece to each of the twelve tribes of Israel.
JG 20:43-48 The Israelites smite 25,000+ "men of valor" from amongst the Benjamites, "men and beasts and all that they found," and set their towns on fire.
JG 21:10-12 "... Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead with the edge of the sword and; also the women and little ones.... every male and every woman that has lain with a male you shall utterly destroy." They do so and find four hundred young virgins whom they bring back for their own use.
