Police on horseback
![]() mathilda_and_third-_polic... I arrived at 753am to the scene, the police got in formation and moved the protesters from the middle of the street, only those forming a human chain remained- about 6-8 people. Sunnyvale pd , sjpd, and santa clara county sheriffs were present at the scene.

![]() mathilda_and_third__human... check out that "non lethal" weapon that cop is carrying...the presence of riot cops wasn't necessary, but of course they must get their jollies off by trying to intimidate people.

Dear Darksyde,
I should say a brilliant photo article. Way back here in Asia, specially India, we thought America had lost it soul, but people like you have enforced my faith in the Freedom Loving American public in general. Thank you without people like you and articles such as yours. I would have been in the dark. Take care and keep up the good work, With Best regards, Satty. Less hippie, more pot!

Ahh the protest. What a great way to get nothing accomplished. Two+ years later, and the war is still on. How about getting a job with the red cross, or something that is actually PRO-active, rather than trying to cause a 1960's style stink. This particular Lockheed plant does not have anything to do with weapons. Thoese folks should protest Yahoo!, Google, (or even Starbucks, McDonalds) or any of the other soul-less, shameless corporate "profiteers" in the area. How bout a sit-in to end homelessness? Crack addiction? Prostitution? These would be much better for S.F. than a Sunnyvale protest by a bunch of unemplyoed potheads.
