California | LGBTI / QueerDiversity awareness; Jennifer's walk from San Diego to San Francisco
Jennifer Schumaker is a mom, a lesbian, and a writer, and is walking from San Diego to San Francisco to raise awareness about the diversity of our communities and to dialogue with people she meets, both with positive supporters and conservative non-supporters (let's just call them, the ignorant ones). She will end her walk on June 3rd, leading a walk across the SF Golden Gate bridge in conjunction with a walk across a New York bridge for marriage equality. She is a wonderful writer and you can access her daily blogs and more info on her journey at www.walkfortogetherness.com. She will be in the Santa Cruz area around May 26th and she would love to hear from you as she checks her emails daily. "One mom, two feet, and 500 miles"

This will be in conjunction with a walk across the New York bridge for marriage equality. Support Jennifer by going to her website along her journey.
