Free Skool Community Potluck, Birthday Party, and Fundraiser (5/14)

Hey, Free Skoolers!

Wanna come help us celebrate Free Skool Santa Cruz' one year birthday with a potluck and fundraiser this Sunday? Music, food, frolicking, and Free Skool workshops.

Here is another chance to meet Free Skool teachers, students, organizers, and community members here at the end of Winter Quarter. The Free Skool Community Potluck. Scheduled this Sunday January 22nd. It's on your Free Skool calendar. It says:

Students, teachers, organizers, community members are invited to come celebrate Free Skool Santa Cruz' one year birthday! Enjoy food, music, and companionship with new and old friends.
Sun, May 14th 1pm-3pm


Come play with new and old friends. Bring food to share and stuff to play with. We can have some dis-organized frolicking and games. Learn things. Scheme about upcoming classes. Talk about one's we already took. You know, good stuff.

It'll also be a chance to get involved if you'd like to help in the Summer Quarter. If you are involved with another Free Skool far away, considering visiting us.

<b>A Fundraiser for Summer Quarter!</b>

The Free Skool potluck and fundraiser is also an informal fundraiser for summer quarter. If you can spare it, bring $5 to $20 for printing costs for summer quarter calendars. Of course, no one will be turned away. If you’d like to contribute to this project we’d appreciate your support. Currently we are most in need of:

* cash donations
* printing services
* people to distribute calendars and fliers,
* locations to hold classes, and
* voice mail

Our only major expense is printing calendars. A fifty dollar donation goes a long way.
