There are 9 San Francisco Propositions and 8 California Propositions on the November 8, 2005 ballot which mandate your immediate attention and your vote. You still have time to register & vote by mail.

This special election is the $70 million (and up) attack on the workingclass brought to us by Nazi Schwarzenegger and his Democratic Party collaborators. All of the initiatives he endorsed deserve your NO Vote. They are Props 73, 74, 75, 76, 77 and 78. There are 2 good initiatives, Props 79, a prescription drug discount program and 80, a good effort to regulate electricity and guarantee lower rates.

San Francisco also has important initiatives. In particular, your NO vote is URGENTLY needed for Prop F, a theft of our budget for firehouses that may not be needed, Prop H, a vicious attack on the Second Amendment as well as the rest of the Bill of Rights, and your No vote is best given to Props A and B, two bond measures. Bonds increase our debt; if the project has any merit they can go to the state and federal governments and demand an appropriation from the general fund which comes from the progressive income tax, known as tax the rich. So No on A, B, F and H.

In San Francisco, your YES vote is URGENTLY needed for Props C, D, E, G and especially I, the college not combat initiative.

Since the only pro-labor, pro-peace, anti-death penalty parties on the ballot are the socialist Peace & Freedom Party and the Green Party, if their candidates are not running for a given position, skip that position. In San Francisco, that means you can skip the people for Assessor-Recorder.

There is still time to register to vote as the absolute deadline is October 24, 2005, but the sooner you register, the better. Please also sign up to be a permanent vote by mail (absentee) voter as it is much easier and faster to vote from the privacy and comfort of your home. Anyone can be a permanent absentee voter so please sign up.
