Bush To Rita: Bring It On
Bush said he had spoken to the governors of Texas and Louisiana about preparations for Rita, which grew into a monster Category 5 storm and took aim at Texas, Bush's home state.
Chertoff said there was a push to evacuate people in affected areas as early as possible. Paulison said federal and state officials were in almost hourly contact and that one of the important things the Federal Emergency Management Agency was doing this time was working with the Pentagon ahead of time to preposition supplies.
"We're going to make sure this time, to make sure we have all those resources available," Paulison said.

too damn bad about them oil prices, you bet.
The bus, carrying about 45 elderly evacuees, burst into flames on Interstate 45 south of Dallas. It pulled over and people were getting off when a series of explosions ripped through the bus.
Dallas County Sheriff's Sgt. Don Peritz said 14 or 15 people got off the bus and said as many as 20 people may have died. (Watch the latest on Hurricane Rita's path)
Peritz said the fire was believed to have started in the bus's brake system and may have caused oxygen canisters on the bus to explode.

These hurricanes have no respect for human life! While Americans care about the lives of their children all the Hurricanes seem to care about is murder and brutality. What kind of religion could ever support this type of action? Which side is God on? Is God on the side of Texas, baseball, and apple pie or is God with the Hurricanes and terrorists? God doesnt hate us because of CO2 and Global warming, there is no excuse for these types of actions.
