Free Tyrell Taylor Task Force, ACTION ALERT
Tyrell Taylor, 18 yr. African American Youth, was shot 5 times by SFPD on Northridge St. o 9-10-05., and to their dismay miraculously survived the assault. Tyrell is in custody, with 4 bullets in his body that cannot be dislodged without endangering his life. This young Brother's case is pivotal in terms of criminalization of Poor Youth of Color in San Francisco.... He was one of the 4 children brutalized by SFPD on Kiska Road on MLK day 4 years ago! That particular case is scheduled for review with the Police Commission before the end of this year, and the indictment and conviction of Tyrell are crucial for the POA to discredit the MLK infamous incident, their way of affirming: "See? There were nothing but thugs, it's a non issue!"

* Write to Chief Heather Fong and demand Tyrell's transfer to SF General Hospital! Tyrell is receiving dangerously low level of care on the Medical Jail Ward that is jeopardizing his life..
* Spread the word about young Tyrell scandalous detention in your neighborhood,, work place, and general community. "It takes a Village !"
* Join FreeTyrell Task Force at ISF, 4921 3rd St., SF 94124 between Palou and Quesada in Bayview Hunters Point
