Thanks to everyone at last night's Pendulum rally!
Last night the community came together to protest Les Natali closing the Pendulum
and laying off its entire staff -- just days after the State ABC placed conditions
on his alcohol license at the Pendulum. It was incredible to see so many people
rally on such short notice to express their outrage that the man who discriminated
against people of color has now closed the city's only black gay bar. Once again,
Natali's behavior has demonstrated why it's so important for the City and State to
enforce real penalties against business owners who discriminate.
