Francisco City Hall on Thursday, June 23rd at Noon to protest the raids.
Francisco City Hall on Thursday, June 23rd at Noon to protest the raids.
As many of you know by now, there were federal DEA raids today at multiple
medical marijuana dispensing facilities in San Francisco. We do not have all of
the details, except that the city now has at least three fewer dispensaries
providing medicine to patients.
Come out THURSDAY at Noon and protest this affront to patients!
Activists, patients, and supporters are gathering at the EAST side of San
Francisco City Hall on Thursday, June 23rd at Noon to protest the raids.
Please come out and show your support for medical marijuana and an end to
federal raids. It is also important to push the city to uphold its Sanctuary
Resolution passed by San Francisco Supervisors in December 2001, making the city
a safe haven for medical marijuana patients and caregivers. The federal raids
and apparent cooperation by SFPD today convey that the city does not have
patients' backs.
If the city of San Francisco was complicit in these raids, they need to hear
from us!
