Add comment on:Rachel shown at the Castro Theatre
On Saturday the movie Rachel was presented in the Castro. A demonstration in support of the movie and against Israel’s occupation of Palestine was held outside. Lines to the movie were starching all through Castro street up to Market. Although Zionists threatened to demonstrate and shot down the film, I did not notice any other then a few. The movie was incredible and shed a light into Rachel Corrie’s life and death. It gives somewhat of an answer to what makes a young American person fly to Palestine and put her life at risk for others. Enough has been written about the film and I will not exhaust the reader with another review. I’ll say only this, Rachel is an important film that everyone should see. the next screening is going to take place on Tue. Aug 4th, 2009 @ 6:30 PM - The Roda Theatre, Berkeley,
