LaborTech conferences focus on two things -- the use of new communication technologies by the labor movement to get its message out and build local, regional and international networks; and the effects of new technologies on workers. LaborTech brings together leading videographers, web activists, academics, and media/culture workers from around the world, including Japan, Korea, England, Germany, Pakistan, Mexico, and Canada. \n This year's conference will include the launch of Workers Information News Service (WINS), the world's first 24-hour labor radio channel.
